Helping Christian education in Indonesia, one student at a time
SCHOLARSHIP
Lee Iacocca once said "I was fortunate enough to get a scholarship when I went to Lehigh University and Princeton. Somebody was kind enough to spend their money to educate people that they would never get to know." That is what our donors have been doing to our students - spending money to educate youngsters they will never get to know. As Helen Keller said, "Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose". To PKKA donors, providing a scholarship is truly a worthy purpose.

From the scholarship recipient point of view, Gary Locke expressed his gratitude towards the scholarship he received "Thanks to financial aid, loans, scholarships, and part time work, I was able to go to college. I was able to choose my destiny and realize my dreams. Money is not everything but sometimes it is the only thing standing between deserving students and their dreams".

The above introduction tells us that fundamentally our scholarship program represents the two sides of a coin: (1) it provides an opportunity to our donors to commit a worthy purpose, and (2) to our students, a hope to reach their dreams.
